After earning his bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering at the Politecnico University in Milan, Italy, Nazzareno landed a strategic role in a consulting firm specializing in ICT Marketing and CRM. Just five years later, he co-founded NWEB, a web engineering company which in 2003 formed MailUp ( With Nazzareno’s leadership, MailUp has grown to become one of the top ESPs in Italy, offering a complete email delivery solution with over 10,000 clients around the world. In 2014 MailUp went public with the IPO on the AIM Italian Stock Exchange (MAIL.MI -ISIN: IT0005040354 ). Today, Nazzareno is MailUp CEO and leads product and market strategy.

As an expert speaker and lecturer, Nazzareno acts as adjunct professor of the Executive Master in Social Media Marketing & Web communications and the Digital Marketing Management Graduate Program at IULM University in Milan as well as for the Executive Master in Marketing, Communications and Digital Strategy of the renowned Italian business Journal: Sole 24 Ore.
Since 2007, he has contributed to the IAB Italy committee “E-mail Marketing Task Force,” where he collaborated on the establishment of “Golden Rules for E-mail Marketing.”

Nazzareno is also co-author of “E-mail Marketing” (published by Hoepli, 2009,) “Fare Business con Facebook (Doing Business with Facebook) – Email Marketing (Sole24Ore, 2011)”, “Social Media Marketing” (Hoepli, 2012), “Emai Marketing 2.0” (Hoepli, 2013).
